The Manhattans - The Best Of Kiss and Say Goodbye (1995)

Esse quinteto vocal de R&B foi formado em 1962 por George Smith , Winnie Lovett, Kenny Kelly, Ernest Bivens e Richard Taylor. Um ano depois emplacaram o primeiro sucesso com a balada "I Wanna Be (Your Everything)". Em 1975 deram início à sua melhor fase, e o grande hit da carreira do grupo veio em 1976 com "Kiss and Say Goodbye". Depois surgiu "Shining Star" e mais tarde a balada que se tornaria clássica: "Forever by Your Side". Dentre outros, esses foram os maiores destaques criados pelo grupo.
